Which markets does World Stock Charts work for ?

How come World Stock Charts is FREE?

World Stock Charts is financed by the advertising at the bottom of the program. We have tried to make this as un-obrusive as possible. Please click just once a day it will help to keep it free.

Can World Stock Charts be used for Stocks, Options, Indices and Mutual funds ?

Yes - although if want to produce a chart you need to ensure that historic data is available for the ticker..
Generally speaking if the Yahoo Financial website has a ticker for an equity, option, mutual fund or index it will work in the Accounts Manager section of World Stock Charts and if Yahoo has historic data (usually 2 years worth) they will work in the Charting section.

How far back in history can World Stock Charts show ?

Theoretically there is no limit as long as data is available for the equity and timespan in question.
Yahoo normally has 2 years of history for most major markets.

Do I need an end of day data source ?

No - as long as you are connected to the Internet the program will download the stock data as it needs it from Yahoo Financial.

I already have a data source - can I use it with World Stock Charts ?

Sorry no - World Stock Charts sources all its data from the Yahoo Financial website.

Which forms of Technical Analysis are available ?

What is the minimum computer specification for running World Stock Charts ?

Windows 2000™ or Windows XP™.
Pentuim III Processor or better.
128 Mb RAM.
50 Mb Hard Drive Space.
1024 x 768 Monitor with XGA or better graphics card. (1280 x 1024 is recommended)
Internet connection to the World Wide Web.
Printer (optional).
